I hate irregardless with a passion.

The prefix “ir” is a negative prefix, making irregardless a double negative.

Using the word makes me want to stab you in the ear/ir.

Don’t worry, though.

I promise I won’t not stab you in the ear if you say this.goofy_dog_face

Someone should name a dog “Irregardless Is Not A Word” for the sheer pleasure of yelling the phrase throughout the neighborhood whenever the darned thing climbs the fence or digs its way out of the backyard.
